Bluestone Onboard Airborne

Spacemetric is collaborating with ST Airborne Systems (ST) by adding Bluestone software to manage video streams and still images on the aircraft and in the ground systems of ST’s MSS 7000 maritime surveillance systems.

The project will demonstrate Spacemetric’s Bluestone software on the MSS 7000 aircraft using an adapted iX10 computer platform from Unibap. Despite limited bandwidth these technologies will enable a common situational view through shared virtual access to imagery onboard and on the ground.

The project is co-financed by the Swedish government’s national strategic innovation programme for aeronautics, Innovair. It showcases enhanced capabilities not previously available for ST’s customers.
